Village Emblem
The Village of Teutopolis is very proud of all of the Students of the Unit 50 school system that took their time to create their depictions of the Village. The submissions were wonderful portrayals of the community.
The Village of Teutopolis is pleased to announce that Brittney Beckman, a graduating Senior at Teutopolis High School, was the winner of the Village's Official Emblem contest with her design of seal. In the fall, Brittney will attend Lake Land College and then will continue her education at Southern Illinois University Carbondale. She aspires to be an architect.
Over 350 people voted for their choice. The Village of Teutopolis would like to congratulate the runner-ups: Katie Will and Michelle Weber. The Village would like to thank the Superintendent of Schools, Bill Fritcher, support of Karen Weber and Brooks Swinderman, art teachers at the High School and Jr. High Art Teachers.
